Money

So Honey finally got a bid at work, what that means is that he has a set place that he goes on set days! Goody right! Just the answer we needed to finish saving the money we need to move, here's the thing, it is a hold down bid. The driver of this bid is off work right now, for what ever reason, and has been for 2 months! So now that some shuffling has been done and Tim has been given this position we now have to wait and see how long we have it for. I am grateful for what ever time it is that we can do this, it will be good money but we are going to constantly be waiting for the other shoe to fall which really does not relieve any stress at all!


So to deal with all the uncertainties I have, of course, been burying myself in other worlds. I just finished a book called "The Reading Group" by Elizabeth Noble. This is a great story of 5 woman and their lives and how each month the book chosen somehow relates to one or more of the woman's personal lives. It is also a story of the need woman have for each other. The closeness that can only come about from female friends. One thing I loved about this novel is that we don't only see the stories from the woman themselves but the author allows us to see the thoughts and dreams and pain in the people that are part of these women's lives. The husbands and children, boyfriends etc.... For a quick read that can make you realize how important your friends are as well as some other lessons this book rocks!
