NKOTB

I got to watch some of the Today show this morning, which means I got to sleep in till 7:30! How sweet is that??? And then something came on that is going to change the way husbands of woman my age look at them...... New Kids on The Block are returning and if the reception by the crowd on the Today Show is any indication, Men beware, it sounded just as loud and exciting as a NKOTB concert did when I was 11! Yes, 11 and now these women range from 22 to 35, with teeny-boppers of their own. And some of the New Kids actually look better then they did back then!!!

Back when, I was a huge fan. I had the Joey and Donny dolls. I had the huge buttons with all their faces on them. Posters on my walls, all their tapes! I was in love and my parents took me to my first ever concert and sat through the screaming girls and woman! I was the envy of the other girls on my block that didn't get to go. I walked on air for days! And now I can do it all over again....I wonder if I could drag my father back????? lol, not even over his dead body!

NKOTB are coming out with a new album too which will be nice. I still seem to know all the words to their old songs and when I hear them, they get stuck in my head for days!

On another note today the boys and I are going to buy Tim some dress pants for his visit to Indiana. He needs something other then jeans for interviews! FedEx is screwing Tim out of his seniority again and I do believe, even if we weren't moving Tim would be looking for a new job. He has been there almost 4 years with nothing to show for it yet!

I on the other hand am loathe to leave my job. It isn't perfect, but I enjoy it. I get to accomplish something at the end of the day, have adult conversation and know that my kids are safe and happy while I do it. It isn't as profitable as it was when I started, gas prices has made it so that it only gives me a fraction of what it did to start with but anything helps right now. We are almost to our goal for saving.
The kids are home with me today. Deven went to my grandparents Monday, while I was at work at Dylan was at my mom's house, and Deven didn't come home till yesterday evening! When I went to pick him up Tuesday night he didn't want to come home and after a few nicely laid guilt trips, that did not work, he stayed. Yesterday it was the same except I had to put my foot down! I missed my baby, so did Tim and especially Dylan! Dylan likes having his brother around, he feels like such a big boy to have Deven follow him. Deven likes being alone because he gets to be the king of the castle. I am just happy to have my boys close by me. Even with all the fighting. They get along pretty well though.

So that is my Friday morning. Now its time to go navigate the grocery store!
