Tonight

So my mom and I are taking the kids out tonight to a small amusement park. Let the kids run around and have fun, get out some energy and ride some rides. They have both been before but this trip is to congratulate Deven on successful potty training. It has been awhile since he accomplished this major feat but it was hard to find time with my mom's busy schedule and the weird hours the park keeps. They are so excited that they could barely go to sleep last night!
The last time we went Deven was apprehensive, he is not so good with heights but I think this time should be better. He has been climbing up high on the playground equipment and getting braver everyday. We are going to take them on a water ride also! That will be sooooo much fun!
Last time we had gone here we met up with another family who had a little girl Dylan was in love with. He was certian he was going to marry Paloma for more then a year! The boys were delighted to have her along. They took her to each ride and explained how it worked and what the ride did and then fought for who was going to sit next to her. Sweet innocent love, the best kind!
We might even try a little bit of miniature golf this time. The boys have been playing at my grandparents house and going to the nearby golf course to watch the old men in ugly shorts and executives on their 3 hour lunch break hit a few balls. The boys love to find golf balls and bring them home. Thinking about it, when I was young I used to go to the same course and bring home the balls. Bright orange ones, and shocking pink, brand new white balls and balls that looked like the teeth of old men that have smoked for the last 60 years. I used a on old black wooden cane with a white handle as my club. It had been cut down to be my height and I would turn it over and smack the balls as hard as I could, usually at an uncle!
Tonight will be a blast and tomorrow we are going to see the grand opening of the new library in Fontana! I have a friend that went the other day and I am so excited to see all that she told me about! It sounds fantastic. It should be packed tomorrow, we have been watching this be built for over a year and the anticipation has been getting to many residents.
This is going to be one busy weekend!
