Neglected

So I have totally neglected you, my loyal readers for way to long! Until tonight I didn't realize quite how long though. I guess life was boring until 5 days ago so there was nothing to write.
Why 5 days ago you ask????
Well 5 days ago I went to a PTO meeting, (parent organization, like the PTA) and was chosen as co-chair of the event committee and my idea for a movie night for families was liked by everyone and now is in the works! Yay me, but not what made 5 days ago significant!
Actually now that I think about it, last Monday, Presidents day, wasn't to bad either and might have contributed to my demise 5 days ago. Since school was not in session that Monday we took the boys to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. It was free entry day because of the Holiday and so we thought what a great way to spend as a family!
Except for the 500,000 (give or take a few) other people that decided the same thing as us!
Now I must say the people were a lot nicer here then back in Cali. We were not shoved, jostled or pushed like we would be if we were at the Mall or the O.C. Fair or Disney Land and this rivaled in attendance. The museum is 4 stories of hands on exhibits and was a blast. Because of the amount of people the boys did not get to touch and play with many exhibits but we did get to see trains, Dinosaurs, science in action, underwater life including a submarine, a hall of mirrors and most important a carousel.
Which I got to ride.
In circles.
Standing between Deven's giraffe which did not move up and down and Dylan's Horse, which did.
While the walls turned a rainbow of colors.
And I kept spinning in circles.
Watching Dylan's horse go up and down.
In more circles.
I was more then happy when the ride was over. The boys loved it and wanted to go again. I said, "Over my dead body," and sat don ready to keel over from nausea. Unlucky for for the boys I didn't die, so it was off to the next exhibit for them.
It really was a lovely day all in all, the boys behaved, they had a blast and I got to get out of the house for a little while. We most definitely want to go again.

Again how does this pertain to 5 days ago, and more importantly to my demise? Well I guess you will have to wait another day or so. My "demise" is kicking my butt and I need to go take care of it!
