Moving

Well the moving has started! Yesterday we got the keys to the apartment and took a couple of loads of boxes over. I spent the better part of the afternoon unloading the boxes, getting the bathrooms set up and wishing I had more to do! Today Deven and I are just going to take boxes over and put them in the rooms that they belong in. Tim worked last night so I don't have his help as I did yesterday. I quickly ran out of shelf paper for the kitchen so Walmart is going to get another visit from us! Hopefully we can get some furniture in there soon, it is a bit hard to decorate and such with no furniture set up.
We spent this weekend like usual. The kids were not listening so we went shopping for items for our apartment. We went to Alco, like a mini target. Next to it was Farm and Home, it's kinda a Lowe's with Farm stuff thrown in there! Then we went to Walmart and ate at Ponderosa, the Sizzler of the Mid-West, not so good.
Sunday we went to Shannon's dad's house to help with the building of his garage add-on. Since we came into the project late and were later then everyone else we didn't do as much as we would have liked but we had fun. Shannon's brother Johnny and his wife Gina were there as was Shannon's step-mom's sister, Connie. Connie is a sweet heart. She is in her 70's I believe and was right there doing everything she could. She is a real go getter, she runs her own back hoe, she does woodworking. She is very hands on and is always there to help out when you need it. Dad was there to and it was fun getting to work with him, though he had been working on the garage Saturday also and was running out of steam.
Monday we went to Lowe's and got lamps and then to Bed Bath and Beyond for coasters, and another candle, it's that time of year for all my favorite scented candles so we are slowly stocking up.
Yesterday was HOT but today is supposed to be cooler, which is good cause I was stinky by the end of the day yesterday! LOL
Hopefully we will be mostly moved in by Saturday at the latest and can start staying there!!!!!
