Birthday!

So I have now been 28 for two days!!! And I don't feel a day over 25! lol. Tim got me my birthday wish, he got a job!!! His very first interview, the job he wanted and all yesterday, on my birthday! I am sooo proud of him and happy that we know have that out of the way. He is not feeling very well, we think he might have a kidney infection, but it may be something simpler. He is enjoying Indiana and running all over with dad, seeing the sites and just relaxing.
Since he was a way doing that my mom and I decided to go to Newport with the boys for my birthday and I asked my Cousin Steph to join us. We had a blast!! Mom the boys and I went on a 45 minute boat tour. The kids and mom did great. I did good until we went past the breakers into open ocean to see the Otters,then I started getting a bit seasick, but it was still fun. After that we met Steph, grabbed our stuff and hit the beach. The kids have never played in the water before so they were super excited to stand and let the surf come up to them. They loved the feel of the sand as the water receded. They kept saying, "were moving backwards mommy!". I actually rolled up my pant legs and got in the water! Yay me! Mom was with us, Steph was soaking in the sun and relaxing. At one point Dylan had steped away from Mom, I was sitting with Steph and a small wave came up and knocked Dylan over. He tumbled down and gulped a mouth fullof water. Mom was quick and grabbed him. He threw up and then was right back out there, though he stayed much closer to us when we were standing near the water.
We played out there for about 2 hours and then went to the Newport Landing, a wonderful restaurant. We shared some Lobster Taquitos before lunch. The kids did really well, even with out a nap. After that Steph and Deven rode a Ferris Wheel that over looks the harbor. Dylan was to scared and got off after two revolutions. Deven had a blast! Who knew the adventurous one would be scared yesterday and the meek one would be adventurous.
We looked in a few shops and then decided to head home. We had gotten there at 9:30am and we left about 5:30.I got the worst of the sunburns, my forehead looks like a stop sign and my nose like Rudolph's. Mom got a bit of sun and Stephs bikini moved around a bit and now she has a couple of strips on her! The boys missed the sunburns, just got some color. They are all ready begging to go back! I had fun, the boys behaved, we were with great company. All that was missing was my husband and my dad. Other wise it was a perfect birthday!
I will post some pictures later tonight or tomorrow, I took about 450 yesterday!
