The time has arrived

So the movers have come, our home is empty, our van packed and our hearts ready! Tomorrow morning we leave on an adventure. We are not sure how its going to go, but we are willing to take the risk and try something new. It really hasn't sunk in that we are moving yet. I think it will hit me about 3 weeks after we get there and the vacation feeling is gone, but we aren't boarding an airplane!
Our friends have been very good to us, there are a few family members that are still really upset about the move, but more and more people are showing support for us and that feels good. Most still say we are going to move back here, but at least we are not being told that we are wrong or that we are selfish.
This is hard, or it will be when it sinks in. We are leaving behind everything we are comfortable with, everything we know and going somewhere we are mostly unfamiliar with. I can't call Jenilee after work and run over there to play with her kids, Patrick isn't going to be able to come over for a BBQ and down a few with us while making uncultured, but funny, jokes. I won't be able to call Isabel to have dinner and good conversation. No more laundry days at mom's or talking politics with grandma and grandpa after work. But even with all these things that I will dearly miss there is some good. We will have many places to explore, Tim will have a much better job. The kids can play outside and will have snow days. I will get to see my father and get to know his new family.
So it is time to go rest. enjoy my last hours here in the house I grew up and spend some quality time with my mom. I will update here as we travel.
And for all of you I might not have mentioned here, We will miss you all!
