Eddie

We have a bat that likes to fly around Dad and Shannon's back yard. He fly's circles around the trunk of the biggest tree, which also happens to be the closest tree to the screened in porch. He has made an appearance for the last 5 days or so. He circles the tree 4 or 5 times then fly's off over dad's garage and a few minutes later reappears! Tonight though he decided to vary his flight pattern. He took a couple of dives toward the screens of the porch and then circled his tree. He flew off over the garage but this time when he came back he was swooping around the tree branch's of another one of the trees and across the open space of the backyard!
He is about half the size of my fist and his wing span of about a foot. I nicknamed him Eddie, I wanted to call him Edgar, but that was the name of our German Shepard when I was a little girl so I decided to try something different, so Eddie, as in Eddie Munster, is his new name!
On another note, Dylan starts school in the morning. I have been very grumpy all day, and I think it's because of tomorrow! It has not been dominating my mind and I don't Feel overly stress or sad or excited, but I think it's getting to me all the same. I am always the last one to know when something is bothering me. I hide it from me better then I hide it from others!
I have the camera ready and his lunch is almost done, just needs a sandwich and a drink and we are good! It's hard to really grasp that the day has arrived.
I guess time just keeps marching on!
