So its a normal Thursday today, we took Dylan to school, Deven and I hung out, did some grocery shopping, he is currently sitting next to me passing gas, giggling and telling me I stink! We are going to pick Dylan up from school in about an hour.
Dylan finally had to take the bus Tuesday. We we registered him at school they told us the bus came at 7:45 in the morning. My step brother, Isaiah takes the bus also and was told to be at his bus stop at 7:45 also but he has now figured out that his bus doesn't come till 8:15. I knew there was a good chance the 7:45 was so that the kids would be there and see how long the route actually takes. Anyways so we left the house at 7:35 and it took 5 minutes to walk to the corner for his bus stop. We waited, and waited and waited. We saw 3 buses come by but not stop and I was starting to get worried. At 8:10 the bus stop for the elementary school stopped at our corner just as two of the neighbor kids came rushing up. Well since the bus had stopped there Dylan was already trying to get on it! The bus driver asked if we were riding the kindergarten bus, ans when I said yes, she shook her head and said the bus must have turned before our stop. I guess we are the only kindergartners at this bus stop and since we hadn't been there the driver took it off her route! The elementary school bus driver radioed our bus and she finally arrived 5 minutes later. I can't believe how much trouble taking the bus has been! On top of it all, all but one Wednesday a month the students start school 30 minutes late, (every school), for teacher collaboration and most months we have at least one day they get out at 12:30! I do not remember EVER being given so much time off when I was in school!
I have set up to volunteer at Dylan's school. They need parents at the front doors greeting the students in the morning and then parents at lunch time to help the kids out. I was told I could bring Deven so hopefully he will like that alot.
Today Deven was better, not so gloomy. We went for a walk in the woods and followed a stream for a half mile or so. There was a concrete bridge going over the stream and lots of small quartz rocks around so Deven and I spent a half hour throwing rocks and watching them bounce and skitter across the water and other rocks.
This weekend we are going shopping for curtains and a sofa cover, we need to run to Ft.Wayne to go to circuit city, my power cord for my laptop stopped working last night while I was on Yahoo messenger, finally talking to Jen after, who knows how long! I was so upset, I just wanted to cry! The cord must have been out for at least an hour because when I realized it I was almost through my battery power! Then we are helping Shannon's dad build an addition to his garage for a new tractor he got, well a new used tractor! So this weekend should be full of great fun!!
I was thinking last night, are there things you wonder if other people think about? Do you ever ask yourself if you are the only one who's brain thinks a particular thought? I remember the first time I heard that when people are dreaming or remembering they always see themselves. If you are remembering the night of partying with your friends, long ago in highschool, you aren't remembering as you saw it, through your eyes, but you actually see it as if you are someone else looking at you! How weird is that?????
